Students must be 4 by Sept. 1, 2019 to attend Pre-K in August of 2019.

If you need to leave something blank please mark NONE or N/A.
We accept registration forms Monday - Friday between the hours of 9am-1pm or 3pm-5pm only.
You will need to bring the following documents to complete registration:
1. Copy of child's birth certificate
2. Copy of current immunization record
3. Proof of Georgia residency (copy of utility bill)
4. Health screening form (form 3300 from pediatrician)
A waiting list has been established at this time. To place your child on the waiting list simply follow the registration instructions listed above.
You may email registration forms to firstname.lastname@example.org or fax to 770-725-1091 to be placed on the waiting list. We will call or email you as soon as we have an opening.

(If at all possible, please attend the session at North Oconee High School as there is plenty of parking and ADULT size chairs to sit in.)
Parent Orientation is for Adults Only (please do not bring children) and is mandatory even if you have had a child at Downs before. Ga. Pre-K has changed over the years and this is a good time to hear about the program and ask questions.
Orientation session usually lasts about 2 hours.

All Pre-K classes in Oconee County are private. Therefore you do not have to live in the county to attend Pre-K in Oconee. There are currently 16 Pre-K classes in Oconee with 7 classes being at Downs Preschool. Downs Preschool is the only total Pre-k program in the county meaning the youngest children in our school are our four year olds.
Ga. Pre-K is free to all age eligible children. The only fees incurred during the Pre-K day will be for lunch at $4.00 per day. Extra milk is $.50 per day

Breakfast (optional and not part of Pre-K day) is served between 7:30am - 7:55am and costs $1.75 per day
7:30am - 7:55am Morning car rider drop off

We offer the following extended care for our Pre-K students.
7:00am - 7:30am Early Drop Off
3:00pm - 6:00pm After School
The cost for Pre-K extended care is $65 per child / per week.
Early drop off only is $4 per child / per day. Rates subject to change.
We also offer after school pick up at MBES, RBES and Dove Creek
3:00pm - 6:00pm
The cost for K - 5th grade after school care is $70 per week. Rates subject to change.
Drop - In is available for Pre-K students and K - 5th grade students at a rate of $16 per child / per day if space is available.
